The centre follows a play-based approach and educators are encouraged to create nurturing environments aligning with the Early Years Learning Framework. The service is a 5 min walk away from the main public transport lines.
The Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and collaborating with your educator team
- Crafting and executing quality programming tailored to each child's strengths and interests
- Cultivating a friendly, inviting atmosphere for kids, families, and caregivers
- Nurturing positive and professional relationships with families, children, and staff
About You
To be successful in this position you must have:
- A Bachelors in Early Childhood Teaching OR ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification (or over 50% working towards)
- A current Working with Children’s Check
- Current First Aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the EYLF and NQS
- Programming and documentation skills
