The beautiful, small and independent 29 place service is looking for a Early Childhood Teacher to join their team in looking after the 2.5-5 year old children on a full-time basis. The centre follows a play-based approach and educators are encouraged to create nurturing environments aligning with the Early Years Learning Framework. The service is a 5 min walk away from the main public transport lines.

The Role

As an Early Childhood Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and collaborating with your educator team
• Crafting and executing quality programming tailored to each child's strengths and interests
• Cultivating a friendly, inviting atmosphere for kids, families, and caregivers
• Nurturing positive and professional relationships with families, children, and staff

About You

To be successful in this position you must have:

• A Bachelors in Early Childhood Teaching OR ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification (or over 50% working towards)
• A current Working with Children’s Check
• Current First Aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
• Sound knowledge and understanding of the EYLF and NQS
• Programming and documentation skills
