Located in Melbourne's South-Eastern suburbs, Our client is a market leading retail company, looking for an experienced Supervisor to join the team at their Distribution Centre in Melbourne's south east. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an environment where ongoing development is highly encouraged. You will play a vital role in supporting the Inventory and Distribution Manager to meet the daily demands and ensuring that productivity of all teams are met to set standards.
The Opportunity
- As the Supervisor some of the responsibilities required to perform but not limited to are:
- Capacity Management & Liaison with Portfolio, Claims & Quality Management, DOT delivery
- Manage activities for cycle counts, correct stock variances or inaccuracies
- Foster and enhance a culture that takes pride in its performance, delivery and work environment and seeks to continually improve
- Develop and contribute to 'best in class' processes within the warehouse.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal & external customers to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Supervision of normal operational activities from receiving to dispatch and everything in between.
- Ensure a high level of compliance with OH&S requirements and enhance an organised and clean working environment.
