About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Domain Architect to join a major government organisation based in the heart of Brisbane. This is a 12-month contract offering a unique opportunity to work on a large-scale digital transformation across core business and ERP functions.
This role will see you play a pivotal part in guiding architecture strategy and ensuring alignment across a complex SAP environment, contributing to major initiatives including readiness for SAP S/4HANA.

As the Domain Architect, you will:
Develop and drive domain strategies and roadmaps aligning with broader enterprise objectives.
Provide expert architectural assurance and guidance on key SAP-focused projects and integrations.
Lead the architecture component of significant digital enhancements across ERP and peripheral systems.
Collaborate with Platform Architects, Solution Architects, and Project Teams to align solutions with business needs.
Oversee architecture governance forums and provide strategic oversight on solution design and system changes.
Support the ERP Platform Manager to ensure changes align with future platform direction.
Contribute to the growth and development of the architectural practice and knowledge network within the organisation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
✔️ Substantial experience as an Enterprise or Domain Architect in complex ICT environments.
✔️ Expertise across SAP platforms, particularly SAP ECC and S/4HANA roadmap planning.
✔️ Demonstrated leadership in solution architecture across Finance, Procurement, HR, Payroll, Assets, and EHS modules.
✔️ Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
✔️ Proven ability to develop, promote, and maintain integrated architectural roadmaps and governance processes.
✔️ Experience in architectural assurance for complex enterprise-level projects and digital programs.
Desirable:
Experience working within government or large corporate environments.
Familiarity with architecture methodologies and frameworks such as TOGAF or similar.
Exposure to cloud migrations and modernisation of legacy SAP systems.
