The Opportunity
As the Centre Manager/Director, you will be the driving force behind this new ELC. You will be responsible for:
Establishing and maintaining a high-quality, engaging, and safe learning environment.
Recruiting, mentoring, and leading a passionate team of early childhood educators.
Developing strong partnerships with families and the local Teesdale community.
Managing the centre's operations, finances, compliance, and regulatory requirements (including the National Quality Framework).
Championing a positive, collaborative, and professional centre culture.
Establishing and maintaining a high-quality, engaging, and safe learning environment, with a paramount focus on implementing and upholding all Child Safe Standards across all operations.
You are a dedicated, experienced, and qualified early childhood professional with a proven track record in leadership and management within the sector.
Mandatory Requirements:
Approved Early Childhood Qualifications: All relevant qualifications necessary for a Centre Manager/Director role in Victoria - Diploma of Children Services or Above
Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration 0r Current Working with Children Check (WWCC), Police Check, and evidence of Mandatory Reporting training.
Demonstrated experience in leading an ELC, including staff management, budget oversight, and compliance with the NQF.
A commitment to excellence in early childhood education pedagogy and practice.
- First Aid Certification: Current documentation for First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis management, and Asthma management.

- A deep commitment to and experience in embedding the Child Safe Standards into centre policy, practice, and culture.
