The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Diploma Qualified Educator. As a key member, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a high-quality educational program for children aged 0-5 years. You will play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that supports the holistic development of every child.
Key Responsibilities:
Educational Program:
Design and deliver a high-quality, play-based educational program in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development to inform program planning and maintain accurate records (e.g., portfolios, learning stories).
Create stimulating and responsive learning environments that reflect children's interests, strengths, and agency.
In collaboration with the Educational Leader and Early Childhood Teacher (if applicable), contribute to the continuous improvement of the service's educational philosophy and practices.
Child Health, Safety, and Wellbeing:
Ensure the safety, health, and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times.
Implement and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in accordance with service policies and relevant regulations.
Respond to children's individual needs, including managing dietary requirements, allergies, and medical management plans.
Supervise children vigilantly and engage them in positive, respectful interactions.
Relationships and Communication:
Develop and maintain warm, respectful, and responsive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and caregivers about their child's day, development, and program activities.
Work collaboratively within a team, offering support and contributing to a positive and cohesive workplace culture.
