Randstad Digital are excited to be exclusively partnering with the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee (Brisbane 2032) to find a Digital Workplace Specialist to join their growing team. Between July and September in 2032, Brisbane will host the Olympic and Paralympic Games over an exciting and history-making 29 days of ceremony, festival and competition. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a major contributor to a historic Queensland event.
The Digital Workplace Specialist will report to the Head of Business Technology and will be responsible for raising the digital fitness of the organisation. This role is critical to creating a digitally connected and future-ready workforce in the lead-up to Brisbane 2032.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure and maintain SharePoint Intranet Sites, Lists and Libraries to support collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Build, support and optimise Microsoft Teams channels, apps and integrations for dynamic team collaboration
- Develop automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes and reduce manual effort
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards to deliver timely, meaningful insights across functions
- Provide end-user support and advice across Microsoft 365 tools, including training and documentation
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored digital workplace solutions
- Champion best-practice use of Microsoft 365 tools and drive user adoption through targeted enablement
- Support governance, compliance and information management standards across platforms
- Contribute to the development of self-service resources and onboarding content
- Contribute to the evaluation, configuration and implementation of other enterprise or corporate systems as required
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated hands-on experience across Microsoft 365, including:SharePoint Sites, Lists and Libraries; Microsoft Teams; Power Automate; Power BI
- Strong communication skills – able to translate technical capabilities into user-friendly language
- Proven ability to build relationships across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience delivering user training, demonstrations or digital enablement sessions
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 governance, security and compliance principles (desirable)
- Exposure to Power Apps or app development in the Microsoft ecosystem (desirable)
- Experience working with or supporting other corporate systems (desirable)
- Experience in major program environments (desirable)
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
