About the Role:
As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our fleet of industrial equipment. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults on heavy diesel engines
- Performing routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Conducting major and minor repairs, including engine overhauls
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations
- Overtime is available, but not guaranteed
About You:
We are looking for hands-on, experienced Diesel Mechanics with a strong background working on large, industrial 4-stroke diesel engines.
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a focus on industrial rather than automotive engines
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency is highly desirable. The company may consider temporary visa holders with a clear path to permanent residency.
- Able to pass a medical and obtain a National Police Clearance.
