A major Australian Bank is undergoing a key regulatory migration and is seeking a skilled DevOps Solution Engineer to support the transition from SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya. This role is central to managing the CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment frameworks that ensure operational stability and efficiency during this critical migration.

Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya deployments using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise, or Azure DevOps.
Automate infrastructure, monitoring, and deployment workflows using Terraform or Ansible.
Support and automate SAS 9.4 batch jobs and scripts during the migration process.
Ensure rigorous reconciliation, validation, and governance controls in the hybrid SAS environments.
Collaborate across Development, Architecture, and Operations teams to ensure a smooth, stable cutover.
Contribute to best practices and reusable DevOps patterns for the bank's SAS platforms.
Skills & Experience
Expertise in SAS 9.4 & SAS Viya administration and DevOps.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab).
Hands-on experience with Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Skilled in scripting languages including Shell, PowerShell, Groovy, SAS, and Python.
Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
Desirable Attributes
Previous experience specifically within SAS migration projects.
Exposure to risk, compliance, or regulatory reporting environments.
Familiarity with data governance tools and enterprise schedulers (e.g., Control-M, Airflow).
