Delivery Executive – SAP Programs

A consulting business is seeking an experienced Delivery Executive to lead end-to-end delivery of SAP programs across enterprise and government environments. This is a senior leadership role responsible for delivery excellence, financial performance, and long-term client outcomes across a portfolio of SAP engagements.
The role is open to candidates based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Canberra, with an expectation to work onsite in the closest office 2–3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery Leadership
Lead overall delivery of SAP programs and projects across a client portfolio
Act as the primary delivery contact for senior client stakeholders
Ensure delivery quality, governance compliance, and contractual adherence
Manage delivery risks, issues, and escalations with clear executive communication
Drive continuous improvement and innovation across delivery teams
Financial Management
Own financial performance for assigned SAP engagements
Ensure accurate forecasting of revenue, cost, margin, and resource utilisation
Manage commercial governance, contracts, and change control
Identify and implement opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and profitability
Sales and Growth
Partner with sales and account leaders to support SAP business development
Provide delivery leadership in proposals, solution design, estimating, and deal shaping
Support account planning, pipeline management, and growth strategies
Build trusted advisor relationships with senior client executives
People and Capability Leadership
Lead and mentor cross-functional SAP delivery teams across onshore, offshore, and partner models
Support workforce planning, capability development, and succession planning
Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and learning
Governance and Risk
Ensure compliance with delivery, risk, and security frameworks
Conduct delivery reviews, health checks, and assurance activities
Maintain strong controls around security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements
Manage vendor and partner performance to ensure quality outcomes
Skills and Experience
Extensive experience leading large-scale SAP transformations or complex delivery portfolios
Proven senior stakeholder management at CIO, CTO, and CFO level
Strong program and portfolio management capability
Deep understanding of SAP platforms, technologies, and delivery methodologies
Demonstrated experience owning financial performance and delivery P&L
Experience supporting and shaping sales pursuits for SAP programs
Ability to lead large, distributed delivery teams across geographies
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in IT, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
SAP and/or project management certifications are highly regarded
Security Requirements
Australian Citizenship is required
Baseline Security Clearance is mandatory
NV1 clearance is highly regarded
