Are you good with your hands, but don’t have a trade? Randstad is looking for a blinds and curtain installer. We're looking for someone with exceptional customer service skills, and a commitment to high-quality work in the Top End.
About your next Role
- Accurately installing a variety of window furnishings, including blinds, curtains, and shutters, at residential and commercial sites across the Darwin region.
- Reading plans, taking precise on-site measurements, and ensuring all installations comply with work orders and quality standards.
- Providing a professional, friendly service, clearly communicating product operation and maintenance instructions to customers.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting existing product faults and completing minor repairs.
- Adhering to all Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and leaving the worksite clean and tidy.
- Work with electricians on site installing motorised products
What you’ll need
- You must be an Australian Citizen and able to pass a defense clearance
- Hold a current, valid Australian Driver's Licence
- Be able to successfully obtain and maintain a Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
- Proven handy person skills
- Demonstrate knowledge of safe hand and power tool usage
- Excellent communication skills
