Contract Specialist – Infrastructure & Commercial Contracts | Brisbane – On-site
We are seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to manage multiple high-value infrastructure design and delivery contracts for a leading utilities provider. This full-time role involves overseeing contract administration, cost tracking, claims assessment, vendor management, and supporting governance forums.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and administer multiple active contracts ($70M+ annually)
Track contract and project costs; review monthly claims and accruals
Provide expert contract advice to project and program managers
Monitor supplier performance and lead resolution of contractual issues
Support procurement activities and financial approvals
Drive continuous improvement and digital enablement of contract processes
Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
About you:
Tertiary qualification in administration, finance, construction management, engineering, or similar
3+ years contract management experience in infrastructure or utilities
Strong commercial acumen with experience in collaborative contract frameworks (e.g. TCE, ECI)
Proven skills in cost control, budgeting, KPI analysis, and claims management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities
Comfortable working on-site in Brisbane
