Contracts Administrator
Randstad is currently working with a high profile local government department. Due to growth and the continuous drive to deliver outcomes and large scale capital projects for the people of Sydney, they are seeking a Contracts Administrator for a 6 month basis.
This is a role where you will be able to achieve outcomes on projects that truly add value. You will work alongside experienced government professionals.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality customer service, including handling phone and email enquiries professionally and promptly.
- Managing and resolving complaints with confidence and efficiency, ensuring accurate information is gathered and issues are addressed promptly.
- Attending onsite meetings with building managers as needed to address specific issues or concerns.
- Carrying out routine site inspections (approximately half a day) to ensure compliance and service standards are met, including documenting graffiti and sharps bin locations through photographs.
- Completing regular, process-driven tasks with precision and consistency within weekly workflows.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with contractors and internal teams to support effective service delivery.
The successful applicant will require:
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong collaboration skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills and confidence in phone-based interactions.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and a willingness to learn new systems (e.g., Pathways, GeoCortex, OneCRM).
- Class C drivers license
- A genuine interest in contract administration (advantageous but not required).
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
