A concrete crushing plant is seeking a skilled and experienced Concretor to join their team. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of expertise in all aspects of concreting.
Key Responsibilities:
Slab Work: Constructing concrete slabs, ensuring proper preparation, levelling, and finishing.
Formwork: Building and dismantling formwork for various structures.
General Labouring: Assisting with all site tasks, including preparing the area, moving materials, and operating plant and equipment as required.
All Concreting Aspects: Handling a full range of concreting duties from start to finish, including placing, spreading, finishing, and curing. This also involves working with reinforcement materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Concretor in an industrial or commercial setting.
Strong knowledge of concreting techniques, including formwork, steel fixing, and finishing.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual, physically demanding work.
A valid White Card (Construction Induction Card) is essential.
A Certificate III in Concreting or equivalent trade qualification is highly desirable, demonstrating a formal understanding of the trade.
Experience in an industrial or plant environment is a plus.
Reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Compensation:
Pay Rate: $40-$44 per hour, based on experience.
Overtime: Overtime hours are available.
