As the Commercial Transport Analyst, you will develop business solutions and commercial modelling to support growth and profits with existing and new clients and provide data analytics for customer KPIs and Business reviews.
Your duties will include:
- Review of financial and commercial analysis, outcomes and decisions for existing contracts and new business opportunities to ensure strict compliance to the contract obligations, policies and procedures
- Analysis and report support to operations
- Adhering to the requirements of the quality system including supporting preventative actions to eliminate any recurrence of incidence, non-conformances, or customer complaints.
- Strictly complying to all WH&S and induction requirements
- Making certain that all legal and compliance obligations are met and adhered to.
- Assist in the pursuit of new business opportunities or continual of current contracts, including cost modelling, commercial arrangements, pricing options, business case studies and tender response preparation
- Actively work to ensure all pricing and cost aspects of any new and existing contracts are administered in a timely and accurate manner including but not limited to: Determining Equipment and labour resourcing levels, KPI reporting, Existing Customer Business Review reporting requirements – data gathering and presentation, Co-ordinate Rise & fall mechanisms, Volume Adjustments, Diesel fuel surcharge reviews, Cost – Price Model Updates, Customer Rebates & Continuous Improvements.
The Successful Applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Intermediate to advanced capability using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to build and develop positive internal and external relationships.
- Passion to deliver results on time and within budget constraints.
- Excellent commercial, interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong organisational skills and outcome focused.
- Seeks to resolve complex issues in a constructive and co-operative manner that is outcome focused and identifies and facilitates resolution of issues concerning staff or processes.
