Role Responsibilities
- Managing high-volume inbound and outbound phone calls while contributing to maintaining a high inbound answer rate.
- Educating customers on available solutions for their arrears balance and assessing financial hardship applications.
- Handling customer objections and proactively mitigating their concerns.
- Demonstrating diligence and accountability in managing your assigned portfolio.
- Maintaining effective and accurate notes on all customer interactions within CRM systems.
- Building rapport with customers to identify reasons for arrears and negotiating respectful resolutions.
- Adhering to all internal and external policies and processes, including legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Providing support to other team members with ad-hoc duties crucial for achieving departmental goals.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles (e.g., sales, customer service, collections, or call centre).
- A positive attitude, strong team orientation, and a collaborative approach.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and intuitive investigative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively prioritize workflows.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic interpersonal environment.
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions, both oral and written.
- Persistent and resilient in addressing challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- A driven and self-motivated mindset focused on exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
