We have an excellent opportunity for Labourer's in Civil Works in St Peters, key for this role will be ensuring the long-term productivity and efficiency of the Civil Maintenance Section, working collaboratively in a team to deliver high-quality infrastructure. This is potentially an ongoing, stable, long-term career for the right person.
You will be undertaking a variety of civil construction and maintenance activities. Contribute to a safe and environmentally sound workplace by assisting with risk assessments, implementing safe work procedures, and ensuring site safety for the public. Your work will directly support the maintenance and improvement of infrastructure.

Essential Criteria
Proven experience and capability to undertake a variety of civil construction and maintenance activities.
Ability to read and apply work plans and engineering drawings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for a collaborative team environment.
Computer literacy.
Safework general construction induction card (White Card).
Commitment to EEO, WHS, and environmental principles.
Ability to keep accurate records and complete daily work orders and timesheets.
MR or HR Drivers Licence.
Desirable Criteria
Current First Aid Certificate.
Traffic Control Licence.
Plant operator / Heavy machinery accreditation.
Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Work: Undertake civil construction and maintenance activities, including but not limited to concrete, asphalt, drainage, signage, and street furniture.
Reading Plans: Read and apply work plans and engineering drawings, measuring and calculating quantities for set-out works.
Worksite Safety: Assist in completing site risk assessments, establishing traffic control measures, and implementing environmental protection measures.
Documentation: Complete accurate records, daily work orders, and timesheets.
Equipment: Maintain and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and assist in the security of worksites.
