The Role
As CEO, you are responsible to the Board for the overall success and sustainability of our residential and community services. You will lead a high-performing Senior Management Team (SMT) to deliver a holistic, "whole-of-service" approach that meets the evolving needs of our stakeholders.
Your mission is to balance compassionate, high-quality care with robust financial performance and rigorous regulatory compliance.
Key Executive Responsibilities
Strategic Vision: Lead the development and implementation of long-term strategies, policies, and plans that breathe life into our mission and values.
Operational Oversight: Provide high-level management across all functions, including Finance, HR, Clinical Care, and Infrastructure, ensuring a seamless integration of clinical and non-clinical excellence.
Clinical Collaboration: Partner with the Executive Manager Clinical Care (EMCC) to ensure our residents enjoy safe, dignified, and high-quality accommodation and support.
Financial & Risk Management: Exercise sophisticated financial oversight, managing budgets and reporting to ensure the organisation’s continued growth and stability.
Culture & Advocacy: Foster a culture of transparency, innovation, and collaboration. Act as the primary ambassador for the organisation within the local community and the broader aged care sector.
What You Bring to the Table
We are seeking a leader who is as comfortable in the boardroom as they are engaging with residents and staff.
Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Health Management, Aged Care, or a related discipline.
Executive Track Record: A minimum of 5 years in a senior executive leadership role (CEO, COO, or GM), preferably within the health or aged care sectors.
Strategic Acumen: Highly developed skills in financial analysis, budget preparation, and long-form strategic planning.
Regulatory Expertise: A comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care Act 2025, Strengthened Quality Standards, and the current legislative landscape.
Empathetic Leadership: Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage diverse operational functions with a focus on continuous improvement.
