This privately owned and purpose-built centre located in Sydney's Northern Beaches is looking for experienced Certificate III educators to join their team on a full-time basis. They cater up to 56 children from the age of 0-5 years. Featureing bright and light-filled rooms, the service provides plenty of resources to plan your daily programs for the little learners. A stunning outdoor playground and green garden with a chicken coop are also available to promote and foster natural play experiences. Having a close relationship with parents and the community is a priority for the team.
The Role
As a Certificate III Educator, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting and working alongside team of educators in the 0-2 age group room to provide high-quality care and education for the children
- Communicating positively with the children, families, and staff members
- Implementing education and care programs that meet the holistic needs of the individual child as part of a community through weekly programming and children's observations
- Ensuring a trusting relationship is developed with families through regular, honest and open communication regarding the care of their child
- Having sound knowledge of current child care practices, the Child Protection and Safeguarding procedures, Early Years Learning Framework, and the National Quality Framework
- Being reliable, respectful and work constructively with your colleagues and other professionals

About You
To be successful in this position, you must have:
- A Certificate III in Early Childhood or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in the industry
- A current Working with Children’s Check
- Recent Child Protection and/or Safeguarding training
- Current First Aid Certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
- Food Handling Certificate or willing to obtain
- Understanding and knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
- Australian unrestricted working rights
