Childcare Centre Director (Maternity Leave Cover)
I'm seeking a passionate and experienced Childcare Centre Director to join a dedicated team for a 9-12 month maternity leave contract, with an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to lead a thriving 77-place early learning centre with a strong reputation for excellence.
About the Role
As the Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the centre. You will lead and manage a team of 33 staff, fostering a positive, supportive, and friendly atmosphere where everyone can thrive. Your role will involve:
... Providing exceptional leadership and support to the team of educators.
Managing the centre's operations to ensure compliance and best practice.
Creating a nurturing and engaging environment for the children and their families.
Driving a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
About You
Proven experience as an Childcare Centre Director or in a similar leadership role.
Extensive knowledge of Early Childhood Education and a deep understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and relevant regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a close-knit team.
Experience with or knowledge of the Assessment and Rating process is highly desirable.
