The Centre
A beautiful non-for-profit 56-place service is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Centre Director to join and lead their exceptional team and continue their legacy of excellence. The service has spacious outdoor areas and interactive indoor spaces which are purpose-built to align with the Early Years Learning Framework and the service follows a play-based approach to children's learning, with resources provided to enable all sensory interactions.
The Role
This is an off the floor role and as Centre Director with responsibilities that may include:
- Motivating, supporting and working in partnership with your team of Teachers and Educators driving them to excel as they deliver care and educational programs to children
- Being responsible of the daily management and administration of the service
- Reviewing key performance indicators on a regular basis
- Leading a team to implement and adhere to high-quality practises
- Assisting in building and maintaining a positive centre culture
- Demonstrating strong leadership skills have the ability to contribute effectively to a team environment by providing support to all staff as required
About You
To be successful in this position, you must have:
- Diploma or Bachelors of Early Childhood Education OR ACECQA-approved
- Minimum 2-3 years prior experience as a Centre Director OR 4-5 years of 2IC experience
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Manager
- Current Working with Children Check
- Recent Child Protection/Safeguarding training
- Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS and QIP
- Unrestricted working hours
