Duties:
You will be working in the most advanced and modern shipbuilding hub in Australia, constructing world-class
naval vessels as part of the Hunter Class Frigate Program.
- Working as part of a fabrication team to complete new and repair work on naval ships
- MIG welding on Mild steel and some Flux Core welding
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and working to specifications
- Adhering to strong safety procedures and requirements
Skills & Experience:
- Cert 3 Engineering
- Experience in Fabrication with MIG or Flux Core Welding
- Ability to read drawings
- Strong commitment to a safe work environment
Clearances
As a defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either
possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
