As a Business Support Officer (Band 4), you will be the backbone of our administrative operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while providing exceptional service to our staff and community members.
The Opportunity
In this multifaceted role, you will provide skilled administrative assistance in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from managing venue data to coordinating event logistics, all while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities include:
...Customer Excellence: Act as the first point of contact, providing helpful and professional service via phone, email, and in-person enquiries.
Financial Administration: Manage purchase orders, process refunds, and handle venue security bonds with precision.
Operational Support: Coordinate meeting schedules, catering for events, and maintain accurate records of venue and ticket sales.
Information Management: Organize and disseminate critical information across various platforms, including web pages and community handouts.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Support unit to share workloads and improve service delivery processes.
About You
We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative team environment. You should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities with ease.
To be successful, you will have:
Qualifications: A Certificate III in Business Administration or extensive experience in a diverse administrative role.
Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in a variety of computer programs and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
Communication Skills: The ability to convey information clearly and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills to ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
Resilience: A positive approach to change and the ability to maintain performance under pressure.
