Location: Melbourne CBD (3 Days Onsite Mandate) Engagement: 6-Month Contract Sector: Leading Enterprise Organisation
The Opportunity
Join a major enterprise business in the Melbourne CBD to kickstart a critical operational transformation program. This is a foundational, high-visibility contract role focused exclusively on deep-dive process mapping and analysis. We are seeking a diligent and expert Process Analyst whose immediate remit is to accurately and thoroughly document the current state ("As-Is") of key business processes.
This is a pure analysis role—we need a dedicated expert to establish the baseline before target-state ("To-Be") design begins.
Role Focus: Dedicated As-Is Analysis
You will be responsible for providing the necessary foundation for future design and change. Your responsibilities will center on rigorous documentation and validation:
Process Elicitation: Conduct in-depth workshops, interviews, and observations with business unit leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather detailed process steps, inputs, outputs, and pain points.
As-Is Documentation: Create clear, standardised, and high-quality process maps (UML, BPMN, or Swimlane diagrams) that accurately reflect how the business currently operates.
Contextual Analysis: Document key process metrics, supporting systems, data dependencies, and existing control points to provide a holistic view of the current operational environment.
Gap Identification: Highlight initial inefficiencies, bottlenecks, redundancies, and control weaknesses within the documented "As-Is" processes.
Stakeholder Validation: Socialise and validate documented processes with stakeholders at all levels to ensure accuracy and consensus on the current state baseline.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven Experience: Demonstrated track record as a Senior Process Analyst managing large-scale, complex "As-Is" documentation projects.
Process Modelling Mastery: Expert proficiency in process mapping methodologies and tools (e.g., BPMN 2.0, Visio, Lucidchart, Aris).
Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communication and workshop facilitation skills, with the ability to manage complex, multi-functional stakeholder groups.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to documentation and data gathering, capable of working independently to meet project deadlines.
Hybrid Work Readiness: Must be comfortable working from the Melbourne CBD office 3 days per week to ensure maximum effectiveness in process observation and workshop facilitation.
At Randstad Digital, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all. We actively encourage applications from any background.
