The Joint Venture is focused on introducing an established range of chemicals to the Australian market through an ongoing relationship between the following two businesses.
ICD Superalloys Australia is a subsidiary of the global ICD Group, an international conglomerate that specializes in the recycling, manufacturing, and distribution of a wide range of specialty materials.
As the first dedicated superalloy processing facility in Australia, located in Canning Vale, Western Australia, the company focuses on providing ethical and sustainable supply chain solutions. It primarily sources, recycles, and supplies minor metals and superalloy revert (recycled metal) to critical sectors such as aerospace, oil and gas, medical, and electronics.
Integrity Bio-Chem is a US-based, technology-driven company founded in 2017 that specializes in the manufacturing of sustainable, biopolymer-based chemical solutions.
The company's core mission is to replace traditional, often petroleum-based, products with high-performance, environmentally friendly alternatives derived from renewable resources. They produce a range of products, including their flagship TegraSurf and EdenSurf surfactants, which are used across diverse industrial sectors such as oil and gas, mining, agriculture, and personal care.
The role
Partner with existing distributors nationally to promote the range of applications for the products with a focus on the mining (gold and nickel), Energy, Personal Care and Healthcare sectors. Owning the day to day running of the business and reporting through to a WA based MD, you will manage all aspects including logistics, strategy, forecasting and planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Focus on building strong relationships with existing distribution partners whilst identifying future partners and establishing early dialogue
- Help to set and drive strategy
- Control commercial outcomes driven by speed of distribution
- Use the tools and support provided to build market and product knowledge
- Provide sales/product support nationality through joint meetings nationally and being the conduit for technical information
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies as needed
- Build key, meaningful relationships locally and globally across ICD and Integrity Bio-Chem
- Identify logistics partners nationally
- Provide reporting and sector analysis to senior management
Background
- Has moved through to a middle management role with a sales background
- Ideally has managed and sold through distributors
- Autonomous self starter
- Experience in more than one market/industry is highly desirable
- Proven logistics knowledge and contacts
- Experience in a chemical/process background would be beneficial
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with all levels
- Driven and tenacious with a positive and infectious personality
- Willing to travel nationally on a regular basis
