Key ResponsibilitiesThe Business Development Manager will own and execute the sales strategy for all products within the Western Australia trading area. Key activities include:
- Expanding the business unit's activities, with a primary focus on capturing 'new business' in near and/or adjacent markets.
- Developing long-term, sustainable relationships with potential partners and customers, consistently exceeding expectations by providing technical advice and insights.
- Creating and maintaining a comprehensive call plan, marketing plans, and call cycles to increase client share.
- Maintaining shipping and backorder reports, and assisting with inventory management and parts deliveries as required.
The company is seeking a highly capable professional with a sales background who can operate autonomously. Ideal candidates should possess:
- Demonstrated experience in a business-to-business (B2B) sales position.
- A good understanding of and relevant experience in the transport industry.
- Proficiency at managing an assigned customer portfolio for profitable growth.
- Excellent relationship-building, networking, and facilitation skills coupled with strong communication.
- The ability to manage a sales territory and achieve targets with a minimum level of supervision.
- A Full Manual Driver's License (min. C class).
