We are seeking a highly experienced and autonomous Business Change Manager to lead the organisational change effort for a critical, large-scale IT transformation.

The Business Change Manager will be responsible to lead Organisational Change Management activities with the business areas impacted by the Program, and will report to a Manager within the business. The Business Change Manager is expected to be autonomous, flexible, excellent with stakeholder engagement and direct time and attention to identifying the change impacts to the multiple business areas and working with them and the IT Program team to ensure that each business area adopts the Program change delivered at the appropriate time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage OCM framework to develop and implement tailored Change Management Plans and Change Impact/Readiness Assessments for each impacted business area.
- Design and execute comprehensive Stakeholder Analysis, Engagement Plans, and Communication Plans.
- Conduct Learning Needs Analyses to determine the support staff will require to adopt the new systems and processes.
- Develop robust Transition Support and Change Handover Plans to ensure the changes are embedded successfully post-implementation.
- Identify, analyse, and develop plans to mitigate change resistance and address adoption risks.
- Report on change management activities to project governance boards and senior management.
About You
We are looking for a seasoned change professional who can hit the ground running in a complex, regulated environment.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Exposure to projects involving the implementation of Spatial tools or GIS (Geographic Information Systems) HIGHLY DESIRABLE
- Demonstrable experience leading organisational change on large-scale, complex IT programs.
- Highly effective stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to "liaise, negotiate and consult with senior management".
- Experience in Executive Messaging, including preparing communications on behalf of General Managers or Executives.
- A strong track record of managing highly resistant stakeholders and resolving underlying issues.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- A collaborative, team-player mindset with the ability to work "with and through others".
- Experience in the utilities/mining/resource/heavy industry.
