Key Responsibilities
Commercial Approvals: Assess complex applications for permits, certifications, and consents for commercial developments in a timely manner.
Technical Consulting: Provide professional commentary and advice regarding performance-based designs and alternative solutions for complex structures.
Legislative Compliance: Ensure all building control responsibilities are fulfilled in accordance with Victorian legislation, codes, and standards.
Stakeholder Management: Provide expert building control technical advice to design professionals, developers, and council officers.
About You
Tertiary qualification in Building Surveying OR Advanced Diploma.
Strong knowledge of the Building Act 1993, Building Regulations, and the NCC/BCA.
- Highly developed written and oral skills to produce technical reports and negotiate complex outcomes
