You will be working within the Brisbane City Council, Asphalt and Aggregates branch. As part of the team, you will be working and operating the Fixed Plant at the Pine Mt Quarry location.
About your new role
The variety of this role will expand across the following labouring tasks.

- Must be prepared to learn fixed and mobile crusher plant operating
- Previous experience in the quarrying /mining industry
- Ability to work in a respectful /dedicated team environment to achieve production and safety objectives.
- Must have good communication skills
- The ability to collect data, to learn and follow established protocols
- Experience and/or physical ability to carry out routine maintenance of quarry processing equipment – greasing, hosing, inspections, changing screen cloths etc
- The ability to complete other general labouring tasks and machine operating around the Quarry when required.
What you will need to exceed
A strong sense of teamwork a commitment to safety and ensuring all work is conducted according to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Experience in a Quarry processing environment including the operations of a Fixed/Mobile Plant is essential
- Current C Class drivers licence required
- Machine tickets desirable
- Work safety in the Construction Industry (White Card)
- Able to work 5 days a week + overtime
