About the Opportunity
Are you a seasoned operational leader looking to take the reins of a thriving branch in the Albury-Wodonga region? We are seeking a high-caliber Branch Manager to lead our local team, oversee quality service delivery, and drive strategic growth within the Hygiene and Pest Control sector.
As the focal point for account management and operational compliance, you will have the autonomy to manage your branch as if it were your own business, reporting directly to the Regional General Manager. This is a critical leadership role focused on consistency, team development, and hitting key commercial milestones.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of branch operations, including:
Strategic Leadership: Promote a "TEAM" management concept through coaching, trust-building, and open communication.
Operational Excellence: Ensure quality control of service delivery and compliance with all operational systems and statutory requirements.
Commercial Growth: Oversee revenue and profit targets (EBITA), actively pursuing new business opportunities, tenders, and customer retention programs.
Financial Management: Manage costs (including direct labor), process invoices, and maintain healthy cash flow for the branch.
Compliance & Risk: Ensure the branch meets all OHS, Quality, and Environmental management system requirements and relevant legislation.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor audit results and incident investigations to implement positive changes and enhance business processes.
What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in operational management and a passion for leading teams to success.
Essential Requirements:
Experience: At least 2 years in a similar management position or 4 years reporting to a Branch Manager.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L, budgeting, and financial processes.
Leadership: Proven ability to guide, counsel, and discipline staff while fostering a safe and harmonious environment.
Skills: High-level risk management, client liaison, and oral/written communication skills.
Tech Savvy: Competent in Microsoft Office products.
Desirable Skills:
Relevant qualifications in Business or Financial Management.
Experience or understanding of the Hygiene and Pest Control industry.
