Full-time, permanent position for a boilermaker/heavy fabricator to work in a top-tier mining equipment manufacturer in Brisbane. The successful candidate will join a team of over 40 tradespeople in a team that is growing quickly. You will gain experience in mobile plant equipment and mining equipment.
... Responsibilities:
- Construct and weld large-scale metal structures and components for mining equipment.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure precise and accurate fabrication.
- Perform thorough inspections and tests on all welds to ensure quality in the work done.
- Assemble and fit components and equipment parts.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing equipment to ensure operational reliability.
Requirements:
- A Boilermaker or Welder Trade Qualification.
- 2+ years of experience as a boilermaker / heavy fabricator / first class welder
- Experience in heavy fabrication, specifically with mining or mobile plant equipment
What is being offered:
- Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 + bonus + super (depending on experience) - which is $42-$51ph
