What You'll Do:
As the Business Analyst, you'll be instrumental in:
- Business Process Analysis: Lead the analysis and documentation of complex business processes, workflows, and requirements, translating diverse business needs into clear, actionable functional requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Expertly engage with stakeholders at all levels, from end-users to executives, to elicit comprehensive requirements and manage expectations effectively. You'll bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery.
- Requirements Elicitation: Apply advanced techniques, including interviews, workshops, and surveys, to gather and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation, proposing enhancements that drive business efficiency and elevate user experience.
- Testing and Validation: Play a key role in defining testing strategies, writing test cases, overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validating solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Change Management: Facilitate essential change management activities, including developing user manuals, training materials, and providing hands-on training and support to end-users.
- Project Management Support: Provide significant support to project planning, tracking, and reporting, collaborating closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery and successful project outcomes.
- Communication and Collaboration: Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills for clear documentation, impactful presentations, and fostering strong cross-functional relationships.
What You'll Bring:
- Extensive Business Analysis Expertise: Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, consult, coordinate, and conceptualise substantial business analysis and solutions within a large, diverse, and complex organisation.
- Superior Written Communication: Demonstrated ability to author comprehensive, clear, concise, and robust documents for both business and technical audiences.
- Expert Analytical & Diagnostic Skills: Apply advanced knowledge in process analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and business systems analysis to identify service improvement opportunities and creative solutions.
- Tender & Contract Evaluation: Extensive experience in the evaluation and assessment of tender and contract documentation, including vendor responses.
- Collaborative Relationship Building: Demonstrated high-level ability to establish and grow collaborative relationships, building trust and providing reliability with staff across various technical disciplines, customers, suppliers, project managers, and stakeholders.
- High-Quality Artefact Production: Extensive experience in preparing high-quality business analysis artefacts, including business requirements, functional requirements, process maps and models, business rules, business cases, options papers, and test scenarios.
- Business Acumen: A deep understanding of business needs, established business processes, and how systems and applications impede or enhance business agility within an enterprise architectural context.
- Leadership Capability: Demonstrated ability to lead small teams of Business Analysts on projects, contribute to team direction, and foster a culture of performance excellence.
