Are you a qualified Electrical Engineer with a passion for delivering excellence in electrical and ITS projects? Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team and play a critical role in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of major infrastructure projects across South East Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and oversee electrical and ITS systems for infrastructure and maintenance projects.

• Provide technical guidance to field teams and support project delivery with engineering expertise.

• Ensure all electrical systems comply with AS/NZS3000 and relevant regulatory standards.

• Conduct system assessments, prepare documentation, and liaise with stakeholders including clients, contractors, and internal teams.

• Support safety initiatives by integrating engineering controls and reviewing system risks.

What You’ll Bring:

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; RPEQ registration or eligibility preferred.

• Experience: Experience in the delivery of maintenance services in either an Electrical, Traffic Signal or ITS field of discipline.

• Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and project coordination abilities.

• Knowledge: Solid understanding of council and DTMR standards, and experience in testing and commissioning electrical systems within regulated networks.

It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
