Key Responsibilities
As a core member of the business support unit, your duties will include:
Stakeholder Liaison: acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, attending to phone inquiries and reception duties with professional diplomacy.
Records Management: ensuring the integrity of departmental data through precise entry and maintenance within government specific systems.
Correspondence Management: coordinating incoming and outgoing communications, ensuring all documentation meets departmental standards and timelines.
Executive Support: providing adhoc administrative assistance to the wider team to facilitate efficient project delivery.
Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Proven Administrative Experience: a background in business support, preferably within a high volume or corporate environment.
Technical Proficiency: advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite and a proven ability to adapt to complex internal databases.
Systems Knowledge: previous experience with government records management applications, specifically Objective is highly regarded but not essential.
Communication Excellence: high level verbal and written communication skills with a focus on professional etiquette.
