Learning Designer (ASO6)
Location: Adelaide CBD Job Type: Full-time Contract (up to 3 months)
We are looking for a skilled and qualified Learning Designer to join our team based in the Adelaide CBD. In this role, you will design and develop high-quality learning resources to support programs in Early Childhood Education and Care.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to lead complex projects and create innovative, student-centred digital learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead multi-layered projects, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure successful and timely delivery.
Design and develop innovative, student-centred digital learning experiences and resources.
Work with subject matter experts to create learning design plans, resources, and digital content.
Design and provide advice on assessments that align with competency standards.
Manage concurrent projects and activities, ensuring they are completed within time and budget constraints.
Exercise a significant level of responsibility, working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Essential Skills & Knowledge
Significant experience in leading complex projects.
Extensive experience in innovative learning design and the development of digital learning resources.
Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience in designing assessments and learning resources against competency standards.
Experience with project planning, coordination, and decision-making.
Knowledge of copyright legislation and regulations.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise judgement and initiative.
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or an equivalent qualification is required.
Desirable Skills & Knowledge
Proven ability to develop digital learning content in a Moodle-based environment or similar learning management system.
Knowledge of learning theories such as ADDIE and digital learning principles.
Experience working in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) environment.
