About the Role
Step into a highly dynamic, hands-on field role based out of Melbourne's South-East regional network. As an Arborist, you will be at the absolute forefront of preserving and protecting vital environmental corridors, public green spaces, and waterways. This position blends technical tree canopy management with heavy plant operations, making it ideal for an arborist who loves working outdoors in a safety-first team.
Key Responsibilities
Execute high-standard tree care operations including tree climbing, ground-based maintenance, and elevated work platform operations.
Deliver successful vegetation and tree canopy management across specialized regional waterways and catchment zones.
Safely operate heavy plant and industrial equipment, including feeding commercial chippers, driving medium rigid vehicles, and maneuvering articulated loaders.
Utilize a variety of professional hand and power tools (chainsaws, etc.) in high-pressure or dynamic outdoor environments.
Maintain rigorous adherence to site OHS compliance, job risk assessments, and environmental protection guidelines.

What You Need to Succeed
Qualifications: Minimum Certificate III in Arboriculture (or equivalent).
Licencing: Current valid Victorian Medium Rigid (MR) Driver’s Licence.
Tickets: Construction Induction (White Card), High-Risk Work Licence (EWP), Chainsaw operations, and Front-End/Articulated Loader tickets are highly regarded.
Mindset: A strong commitment to team safety, great communication skills when interacting with the public, and a reliable, collaborative work ethic.
Compliance: Willingness to undergo a standard national Police Check and a functional pre-employment medical assessment.
