Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects and provide expert advisory services. The successful candidate will ensure that all property and technology projects align with established security standards, regulatory requirements, and technical specifications.
You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and compliant with all relevant safety and design protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery: Lead projects through all stages, from initial concept and design through to construction, delivery, and final handover.
Financial Management: Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, monitoring expenditure, and negotiating fees with specialist contractors.
Governance & Reporting: Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership and project boards, ensuring all governance and record-keeping requirements are met.
Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal teams, external consultants, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are understood and achieved.
Risk & Quality Assurance: Identify and manage project risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure all work meets high-quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Contract Administration: Manage variations, maintain change control processes, and oversee the performance of external contractors.
Skills and Experience
Proven Experience: A strong track record in managing infrastructure, property, or technical projects.
Collaborative Approach: Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to broader organisational learning and development.
Adaptability: Experience managing projects both locally and remotely, with the ability to handle shifting priorities.
Knowledge Transfer: A commitment to mentoring internal staff and sharing expertise to build long-term organisational capability.
