About the Role
The APS6 Case Management is accountable under limited direction to undertake
complex work that is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards,
methodologies and precedents.
The position is required to provide detailed technical, professional, policy,
...
operational support and advice in relation to complex problems. Where required, the
role will coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project
management and policy development.
Key skills required for role:
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and make informed decisions in an efficient manner
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to engage in complex problem solving and issues management.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the writing of executive briefs
- Demonstrated ability to work well within teams to meet tight tribunal deadlines.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of complex and sensitive matters, and to assess and respond to changing priorities
Desirable skills to have for the role:
- Awareness and knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme
- Understanding of disability
- Familiarity with administrative law proceedings
