About the Role
As an Assessor, you will be on the front lines of aged care reform, ensuring service providers meet new standards and regulations. This is a hands-on role that blends team leadership with critical analysis and case management.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and Mentor: Provide strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring to your team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Conduct In-Depth Analysis: Analyse complex information to identify risks, make informed assessments, and ensure compliance with the new Aged Care Act. You'll provide sound, evidence-based recommendations to support critical decisions.
- Manage Workload and Quality: Oversee an allocated workload, prioritising tasks to meet legislative and administrative deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality. You'll use case management systems to accurately document and track progress.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Maintain clear, professional communication with aged care entities, government departments, and the public. You'll also work across business areas to contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and policies.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is a skilled problem-solver with a strong background in a regulatory or compliance-focused environment.
We're seeking someone with:
- Proven leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- A strong ability to analyse complex information and identify risks.
- Experience in case management systems and managing competing deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
