APS5 Project Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Support the coordination and implementation of governance frameworks and processes.
- Assist in the development and review of communication materials including reports, newsletters, and briefing documents.
- Contribute to the preparation of governance documentation and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to support governance and communication initiatives.
- Support project documentation, reporting, and coordination activities.
Skills & Experience Required

- Demonstrated experience in supporting governance and communication activities and the ability to identify and resolve governance or communication issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercising sound judgement and making evidence-based decisions within defined parameters.
- Sound understanding of the role of governance and communication in supporting regional service operations.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders and experience in tailoring communication for different audiences.
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, public administration, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Experience with government governance frameworks and communication protocols.
- Familiarity with APS policies, procedures, and service delivery standards
