About the role:
The role is responsible for providing a range of administrative support services to legal practice groups. It will complete allocated tasks using legal practice business systems and digital litigation tools to support the analysis, management, and presentation of large and complex cases.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Creation and administration of case files, photocopying, filing, data entry, and records management
- Drafting emails, routine correspondence and documents from templates
- Witness coordination, drafting summons/subpoenas, arranging travel and other Court-related tasks
- Preparing court materials, lodging/filing documentation, conducting basic research activities, arranging video conferencing, interpreters and translators
- Liaising with Federal Prosecutors, external agencies, courts and counsel
- Undertake deliveries, collections and court filing within the CBD and court precinct (using trolleys and suitcases)
Your profile will demonstrate:
- Experience in legal administration, paralegal roles, etc. (advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time management skills
- Excellent collaboration skills - with internal and external stakeholders
- Willingness to work onsite full time (5 days a week)
- Australian citizenship (mandatory)
