About the Role
My client is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Alteryx Super User to join their team and play a critical role in transforming and uplifting finance processes across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with deep expertise in Alteryx and a strong understanding of finance operations to help streamline workflows, automate manual processes, and enable data-driven decision-making.
This role is based in Sydney, however can be remote for someone across Australia with full working rights.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Alteryx within the finance function.

Use Alteryx workflows to automate and enhance finance processes, including reporting, reconciliation, forecasting, and data validation.
Partner with Finance, IT, and Business Intelligence teams to identify automation opportunities and implement robust data solutions.
Provide hands-on support and training to finance users, championing best practices and driving adoption of Alteryx.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, assess feasibility, and deliver effective data solutions aligned with business goals.
Continuously monitor and improve existing workflows to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with Alteryx and Finance process improvement roles
- A solid understanding of finance and accounting principles (e.g., month-end close, reporting, FP&A).
- Experience with data integration, cleansing, and transformation.
- Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel for data visualization is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
