Job Title: Administration Officer
Location: Hobart Region, TAS
Partnering with a leading government department, Randstad is seeking an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic administration officer to join their Hobart team. As the first point of contact, you will be the face of the business. About the Role:
As the Administration Officer, you will provide support and assistance in both face-to-face and phone-based environments. You will have exceptional organisational skills, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently for the team around you, while providing crucial administrative support to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Act as the face of the business, delivering an exceptional and friendly customer experience face-to-face and over the phone.
- Engage directly with clients and participants, addressing their needs, booking appointments and providing information.
- Coordinate office appointments and ensure the smooth operation and preparedness of office facilities.
- Conduct research, perform accurate data entry and prepare reports and correspondence as required.
About you
- Experience: A minimum of 12 months experience in administration support or customer service-based roles.
- A Customer-First Mindset: You genuinely enjoy helping people and leaving a positive, lasting impression.
- Core Skills: Strong written, verbal, and organisational experience, paired with excellent time management and a high attention to detail.
- Tech Savvy: Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and a solid ability to learn new systems.
- A Strong Work Ethic: You bring flexibility, reliability, and positive energy to work, even when delivering under pressure.
