We are looking for motivated and experienced professionals to fill positions across multiple departments. Successful candidates will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our council services for the community.
Available Roles (Expressions of Interest)
We are seeking applicants for, but not limited to, the following positions:
...- Rates Officers: Focus on property rate calculations, invoicing, revenue collection, and customer inquiries related to property charges.
- Compliance Officers: Responsible for enforcing local laws, regulations, and managing permits, often requiring strong investigative and communication skills.
- Records Officers: Manage the council's official records, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, and overseeing document management systems.
- Administration Support: Provide vital administrative assistance across various departments, including data entry, correspondence, scheduling, and general office duties.
Key Requirements
Successful applicants will generally possess the following:
- Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably within a Local Council or Government setting.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, with experience in Pathway and/or Docusign being highly regarded.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A strong commitment to customer service and ethical practice.
Mandatory Compliance
All successful applicants must hold or be willing to obtain a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) to be considered for any roles.
