About the Role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the accounts receivable function — ensuring customer payments are processed accurately and promptly, reconciling accounts, and reviewing new customer credit applications. You’ll also provide outstanding service to internal stakeholders and customers, ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date. Key Responsibilities:
- Process daily banking, cash receipting, and credit card payments
- Post and allocate payments to customer accounts
- Send monthly customer statements and follow up on outstanding debts
- Raise debit and credit notes when required
- Review and assess credit applications, including performing credit checks
- Reconcile accounts and respond to internal/external queries
- Allocate customer reward points and manage redemption's
- Meet monthly deadlines and ensure compliance with finance policies
About You:
- 1–2 year's experience in an accounts receivable or similar finance role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and experience with financial software
- High attention to detail with excellent data entry accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A team player who can also work independently and take initiative
- A certificate qualification in Accounting or Finance (desirable)
