We are looking for a dedicated Platform Architect with extensive experience in Workday solutions. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and business-aligned systems that address both functional and non-functional requirements. This is a Fully remote role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and define robust solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring system scalability and alignment with business strategies.
- Lead full life-cycle Workday implementations, leveraging strong technical skills to configure and deploy Workday modules effectively.
- Collaborate closely with business leaders, product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements, identify challenges, and translate them into viable technical solutions.
- Support technical teams in critical areas such as data migration, integrations, and reporting.
- Contribute to the design of detailed functional and technical documentation, including application, data, integration, and security layers, maintaining consistency with enterprise architectural standards and assisting in the development of new partnerships and standards.
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation for solution architectures, technical frameworks, system components, and integration strategies, ensuring clarity for all stakeholders.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, end-to-end Workday functional experience in solution design, delivery, and implementation.
- Strong, demonstrable expertise and certification (or equivalent experience) specifically within the Workday Advanced Compensation module, including merit, bonus, and stock plan configuration.
- Strong expertise in Core HCM, and relevant expertise in other connected functional areas like Payroll, Talent & Performance, and Benefits.
- Proven experience supporting technical teams with data migration, integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connect), and security design.
- Solution Design & Configuration: Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday Advanced Compensation, designing and configuring complex plans, business processes, eligibility rules, and dashboards for various compensation programs (merit, bonus, stock, salary).
- Global Compensation Strategy: Translate evolving compensation strategies (e.g., global vs. local guidelines, cyclical review processes) into viable, streamlined Workday configurations.
- Calculations & Reporting: Design and validate complex calculated fields, custom reports, and matrix organizations essential for compensation planning, tracking, and compliance.
- Data Integrity: Architect the data layer for compensation, collaborating with technical teams to ensure accurate data migration and integration with downstream financial and payroll systems.
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in solution design, delivery, and implementation, with relevant Workday functional expertise.
- Previous experience within mining is highly desirable.
- Strong expertise in Workday functional modules.
- Demonstrated knowledge in platform design, Workday, stakeholder collaboration, solution design, and documentation
