- Job Title: Payroll Tester (UKG Implementation)

This is a high-impact opportunity to join a leading insurance organization during a major enterprise transformation. You will support the implementation of a new payroll system, specifically focusing on the migration to UKG. We are seeking a technically proficient tester who can hit the ground running to validate complex integrations between Genesis and the UKG Time module. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy of timesheet data and award interpretation during a high-pressure migration phase.
Key Criteria
- Extensive testing experience specifically within Payroll and Time & Attendance system migrations.
- Technical proficiency in UKG (formerly Kronos), with a deep focus on HR recruitment and Time/Payroll modules.
- Strong understanding of the Banking, Finance & Insurance (BFI) Award or similar complex industrial instruments.
- Proven ability to validate data integrations, specifically migrating data from Genesis to UKG.
- Prior experience with Aurion is highly regarded but secondary to UKG expertise.
- Ability to work effectively under tight time pressures and delivery milestones.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating across technical and payroll functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end validation of the UKG Time module to ensure accurate timesheet data capture and processing.
- Execute rigorous testing of the integration between Genesis and UKG to maintain data integrity during the migration.
- Validate payroll outcomes against the BFI Award requirements to ensure compliance and calculation accuracy.
- Identify, document, and track defects within the UKG/Kronos environment, working closely with the project team to resolve issues at pace.
- Support the broader payroll project by ensuring the HR recruitment and payroll modules align with business requirements.
