Are you a positive, reliable, and mechanically-minded individual looking for an immediate start in a Trade Assistant role? We are seeking a dedicated worker with a mechanical background to support our team of fitters in a busy workshop environment.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting Fitters with various tasks.
Performing sandblasting of parts.
Cleaning and degreasing mechanical parts.
Assisting with brake unit maintenance and disassembly.
General workshop duties as required.
To be successful, you'll need:
Proven mechanical aptitude and a background in a relevant mechanical environment.
Experience operating an overhead crane (licence preferred but training may be provided for the right person).
A current forklift licence.
A positive attitude and strong focus on reliability and safety.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
