Test Analyst (Data/MS Fabric Project) - 3 Month Contract (Option to Extend) We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test Analyst for a three-month contract, with an option to extend to ensure the quality and performance of a new Data and MS Fabric Integration project. About the Role: This is a critical testing role focused on validating a new data platform built on MS Fabric. You will be responsible for the full testing lifecycle, ensuring the solution meets business requirements, performs optimally, and is user-friendly. Key Responsibilities:

• Test Script Development: Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test scripts and test cases for functional and non-functional requirements, specifically within a data environment.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate and execute UAT cycles, working closely with business stakeholders to ensure the final product meets their needs and expectations.
• Performance Testing: Plan and execute performance, load, and scalability tests to ensure the MS Fabric solution can handle required data volumes and user traffic efficiently.
• Defect Management: Identify, log, track, and re-test defects, working collaboratively with developers and data engineers to resolve issues.
• Test Reporting: Produce clear and concise test reports, summarizing test results, risks, and overall quality status.

Skills and Attributes:

• Proven experience as a Test Analyst, ideally within a Data Warehousing, ETL, or Business Intelligence environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric (or related Azure data services like Synapse/Data Factory) is a significant advantage.
• Experience in UAT coordination and developing test plans for business users.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Sound Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate testing issues, risks, and progress to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: A systematic approach to analysing issues and identifying root causes in complex data flows.
