Are you a marine (ideally but not essential) enthusiast with a knack for driving sales and building lasting professional relationships? We are seeking a dedicated Territory Manager based in Perth to lead growth and deliver exceptional value across our clients product range.
The Role
The Territory Manager is responsible for achieving sales volume, profitability, and growth targets. This position focuses on providing a complete customer value proposition by combining high-level service with deep technical expertise in regional marine requirements. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the successful candidate will work autonomously to over-deliver on customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Growth: Deliver and grow budgeted sales and margin targets within the assigned territory.
- Customer Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for existing and potential customers, addressing inquiries regarding features, pricing, and services.
- Market Insight: Identify local business opportunities and challenges while developing sales strategies based on regional results.
- Product Expertise: Recommend product solutions tailored to specific customer needs.
- Brand Advocacy: Participate in and lead upselling efforts at fishing events, boat shows, store openings, and on-water days.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and cross-territory representatives to share best practices and meet collective quotas.
About You
The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with a strong background in the marine industry although this is not essential.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Sales Acumen: Exceptional skills in negotiation, retailing, and presentation.
- Software Proficiency: Experience using CRM software and the MS Office suite.
- Relationship Management: A proven ability to develop, train, and plan effective customer relations.
- Licensing: A valid Car Licence is essential; a Boat Licence is highly preferred.
