Territory Manager – Primary Care (Diabetes Care)
We are looking for dynamic Territory Managers (North West NSW & South West NSW) to drive the success of our market-leading diabetes care solutions across the primary care landscape. This is an opportunity to manage a diverse stakeholder base, from General Practitioners and Practice Nurses to Retail Pharmacies and Allied Health practitioners.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying high-growth opportunities and acquiring new business while strategically nurturing existing key accounts. You will act as a technical and clinical expert, articulating the value of our technology to challenge the status quo and improve patient outcomes in the community.
This position is ideal for a "hunter" who thrives on relationship building and has a proven track record of exceeding sales targets within the Australian primary care setting.
Key Responsibilities
...- Strategic Sales Execution: Implement tailored sales strategies for targeted GPs, Practice Managers, and Retail Pharmacies to ensure positive commercial outcomes.
- Key Account Management: Initiate and maintain close relationships with high-value accounts, developing specific business plans to drive long-term growth.
- Clinical Detailing: Deliver concise, high-impact clinical and technical presentations to healthcare professionals (HCPs), uncovering customer needs and resolving complex objections.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to identify market trends and competitor strengths/weaknesses, ensuring our portfolio remains the preferred choice.
- Business Development: Proactively prospect for new business opportunities and prepare compelling commercial proposals.
Skills and Experience
- Education: Tertiary qualification in a Clinical/Healthcare discipline (e.g., Science) or Business Management.
- Industry Expertise: Essential experience in a face-to-face sales role within the Primary Care/General Practice setting.
- Market Knowledge: Established understanding of the medical industry, retail pharmacy, and community-based healthcare institutions.
- Commercial Acumen: A proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage the end-to-end sales framework from prospecting to "Call to Action".
- Preferred Background: Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industries, with hospital or tertiary care exposure, is highly advantageous.
